Dropbox x McLaren F1 — The Race Between Races
We partnered with our friends at Farm League who had partnered with Dropbox who had partnered with McLaren F1 on a sponsorship. Talk about the power of teamwork.
Dropbox had recently become a sponsor of McLaren F1 and was looking for engaging content that helped announce and promote their sponsorship. And because F1 fans (including ourselves) are frothing for any content they can get their hands on, we were able to tell an extended story.
As avid fans of F1 who were introduced to the sport through the Drive to Survive series, we knew the content that existed and didn’t exist out there. We knew that DTS showed up on weekends, but we never got a look into what happens between the races. And it fit perfectly with Dropbox, documenting a highly collaborative team that exists all over the world that needs to solve problems quickly and securely.
Thus a concept was born.
